Audio House in Liang Court near Clark Quay has a nice selection and sales reps that are not too aggressive. You may be able to negotiate a better price at Sim Lim on Rocher Canal Rd, but beware the sales techniques. Funan on North Bridge Rd has a decent selection as well.

Very helpful staff and a joy to shop. Located on Outram Rd. in Tan Boon Liat Bldg. (just right after Holiday Inn Hotel) ...looks like an HDB bldg., but actually many other shops.
